Jorg Hysek, whose visionary talent as a designer has shone for decades in the Swiss watchmaking world, presents a concept of contemporary sculptures, adaptable to both urban environments and interiors.
This modern vision combining art and time expresses a philosophy unique to the artist.
“I’ve always been fascinated by time: my passion being to seize it, to put in in line, in movement, in art… Constructing and de-constructing it is my way of not letting time flee…”
To reclaim the sensations of free creation, he decided to withdraw from industrial watchmaking and to return to his first love: sculpture and design.
He thus chose to create objects of contemporary Art.
The first sketches of the “Time Art” pieces are executed regardless of production constraints. The imposing sculptures are illustrated in 3D and shown in potential architectural environments.
Jorg Hysek’s vision for this new challenge is a large-scale approach that aims at private and public settings. The sculpture pieces can find their place in urban contexts, but also in hotels and in private villas.
